While running a multi-author WordPress blog, you may want to show the author box below every single posts and custom post types. By default, WordPress will show a gravatar as your user avatar. In these days, folks need to change it and add their own image. In this post, we are going to show you how can you add custom WordPress user avatar using a plugin.
How To Add Custom WordPress User Avatar
First of all, log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to add new plugins section. There, you need to install the WP User Avatar plugin.
After installing the plugin, you may want to activate it.
From the left side, you can configure the plugin. Go to the plugin settings.
If you are allowing registrations on your WordPress blog, you must allow them to upload their own user avatar. Also, disable the default gravatar.
Also, the plugin will help you to choose a default avatar for your blog. Simply choose the avatar and update the plugin settings.
If you need to change the author’s avatar, go to your profile.
On the bottom of the page, you will be able to choose a custom avatar.
