Last day, we have shared the complete Media.net review, how to get Media.net approval and how to increase Media.net RPM. A few of our users asked for the Media.net requirements. In this post, we will show you what you need for getting Media.net approval.

Media.net VS Google AdSense
Both are great networks. Google AdSense is the #1st largest ad networks. Media.net is the #2nd largest ad network. AdSense is based on CPC. You need to get clicks on ads for earning. On the other hand, Media.net is CPM based ad network.
They will pay you for every 1000 impressions that you make! You can use those two on your website for better revenue. We have seen that using both will increase RPM and you can earn huge from the website.
Media.net Requirements
Before signing up, consider these:
Premium Website Traffic

Your website must receive primary traffic from countries like USA, UK, and Canada. This is the essential part. The website reviewer will use tools like Alexa for checking website rank and ranked countries.
Premium website traffic is essential for increasing your RPM and earning high revenue from the network. Bloggers can generate awesome contents which their users love for bringing traffic.
For engaging all website visitors back, use plugins like OptinMonster, OneSignal or Hello Bar. You must build an email list for your blogging success.
Contents In English

They will accept multilingual blogs. But your primary content must be in English. Well, that’s not a hard thing.
Most folks are managing English blogs. Make sure that you have got no grammar mistakes, spelling mistakes and have appropriate punctuations.
For our uses, we use a tool called Grammarly. They have also got a free version!
Website Design

You must choose a website design which looks professional. If you are using WordPress, check out below theme stores.
In our website, we are using a custom child theme which is made on top of the Genesis Framework. If you are a genesis lover, you can go with Aspire Pro.
Or, go with the Schema theme by MyThemeShop. Check out our Schema WordPress theme review for more.
Updated Blog

You must update your content regularly. Not just with thin content. With rich contents which your users will love. Also, don’t make an auto blog and steal someone else’s work.
People are taking hours to properly write a post and organize it. Respect others work.
A manually updated blog will generate more website visitors and will attract advertisers. So, you will get approval if you have a frequently updated blog.
No Excessive Advertising

Google AdSense is compatible with Media.net. But while you apply for Media.net, you may want to consider disabling the ad units for a week.
Don’t use any pop-up or pop-under ads in your blog. You won’t get approval.
In short, disable all ads in your website for a week.
Invalid Traffic/ Clicks

There are so many traffic surfing and click exchange programs available. Don’t join there and bring traffic. Also, there is so many software available for traffic generation.
You need to understand. Those will not help you to improve your website ranking or online revenue. All it does is, affect your website ranking and you will get suspended from those ad networks.
These guys can understand which one is traffic from real visitors and which ones are traffic from bots. So, be careful.
Software Piracy

Sharing copyright protected things is not legal – It’s illegal.
We have seen that so many folks are creating websites like this. If you are running any of this, you will not get Media.net approval for the website.
Create a website based on contents. If you prefer, you can start a fashion blog.
Under Construction-Pages

There are so many maintenance mode WordPress plugins like SeedProd. Make sure that you are not enabled maintenance mode or coming soon in your website.
Your website must be ready for search engines and users.
Conclusion
These are the main Media.net requirements which you need to consider. It’s pretty simple! The sign up will only take only 10 seconds. The review process will take 2 to 3 business days. Give a try.
We hope you found this post useful and enjoyed the read. If you did, please consider sharing this post with your friends and fellow bloggers on social media.

Then apply again.
Google AdSense or Media.net?
Which is best for Indian traffic?
Hi Logan,
For Indian traffic, we will recommend Google AdSense. When you start receiving premium country traffic, apply for Media.net.
Cheers!
thanks for the info. whats the word count requirement for media.net and adsense.
In my case, I don’t mind the word count Shuhal,
Keep the content original and well-written.
If you still prefer word count, I’d recommend you 800+ words.
Cheers!
Hey I got disapproved, is this because of domestic Indian traffic.
That’s sad!
You could try adding more content, getting a ton of traffic from the search engines, applying again!
Good luck!
